Verona FC was founded by 1967 in Blanchardstown by Noel Noonan, James Gargan, John Gargan, George Barton, Noel Hughes and Peter Hughes. In the formative years 1967-1970, the one senior team fielded played the home matches in the Phoenix Park (15 acres) in Dublin Metropolitan League.
